Dear Coors Light,
From what I have seen, you are close to missing a major marketing opportunity; a ‘Golden’ opportunity, if you will. The deadline is fast approaching for a chance to use the fierceness that is woman to make some substantial bucks off our desire to drink beer.
I do not know one man who likes a weak woman, but then again, I run in circles where women are empowered by their men. We do what we need to do to love our families and our neighbors. We are women and we make the world go around. Strong.
The women in my community are beautiful, sexy, capable, individual and born real. They are God-fearing American women. They have babies the old fashioned way, and even loved the “getting knocked up” part. They help the kids on the 4th of July with their parade. They bring food to the new mothers and to the funeral potlucks. They ferry children to FFA and 4H events and The County Fair. They fix miles of broken fence in an afternoon. They sort cattle on horseback, tag calves and preg check cows. They drive in blizzards to take care of stock. They plow miles of driveways in winter and drive endless hours in a tractor during the spring/summer/fall. They do a lot of these things with their babies at their breast, or playing in the tractor cab. They go to parent-teacher conferences and help decorate the town for Christmas. They don’t have a garbage man and have to go to the dump. They can clear a clogged drain and don’t have to call a plumber. They know how to drive anything, it doesn’t matter what it is. They compete on horseback in their time off; barrel racing, roping or sorting. They know that parts of the series Yellowstone are rubbish, so it is hard for them to take it seriously. Buckle bunnies my ass. They know what a wolf track looks like. They have used a breast pump while chasing cows on a side-by-side. They pack a pistol. They shoot the rattlesnakes that keep showing up on their porches. They help cut and load firewood in the spring mountains to keep their houses warm in the winter. They are more at home in jeans and boots than heels and a dress. They know bonfires can turn into wildfires. They attend classes to get a certification to kill rodents that are eating their crops. They were homecoming queens and star athletes. They went on to college and got degrees. They got married in beautiful hay fields, on majestic mountaintops and along winding rivers. They fish. They hunt and they feed their families with that original, organic meat. They are accountants and investment advisors. They work for the phone company or as nurses. They are teachers, principals, superintendents, cafeteria chefs and coaches. They are photographers, artists and entrepreneurs and even military officers. They are born-girls and they turn into women. They are mothers. They are grandmothers. They are wives. They are sisters. They are friends. The thank-less days are never ending. There is no pretty dress or heels and a podcast. There is cowshit and a dinner to be cooked for a hungry family. There are teething babies and a tractor that won’t start. It is an endless cycle which includes NO appreciation for the contributions they make to their society, to the circle they keep spinning. They are necessary. They are integral. They are authentic. They are capable. They are organic. These are the Real Women….Market THAT. I dare you.
This One's for the Girls
Martina McBride
This is for all you girls about 13
High school can be so rough, can be so mean
Hold onto, onto your innocence
Stand your ground when everybody's giving in
This one's for the girls
This is for all you girls about 25
In little apartments, just trying to get by
Living on, on dreams and spaghetti-o's
Wondering where your life is gonna go
This one's for the girls
Who've ever had a broken heart
Who've wished upon a shooting star
You're beautiful the way you are
This one's for the girls
Who love without holding back
Who dream with everything they have
All around the world
This one's for the girls (this one's for all the girls)
This is for all you girls about forty-two
Tossing pennies into The Fountain of Youth
Every laugh, laugh line on your face
Made you who you are today
This one's for the girls
Who've ever had a broken heart
Who've wished upon a shooting star
You're beautiful the way you are
This one's for the girls
Who love without holding back
Who dream with everything they have
All around the world
This one's for the girls
Yeah, we're all the same inside (same inside)
From one to 99
This one's for the girls
Who've ever had a broken heart
Who've wished upon a shooting star
You're beautiful the way you are
This one's for the girls
Who love without holding back
Who dream with everything they have
All around the world, yeah
This one's for the girls
(This one's for all the girls)
Yeah, this one's for the girls
(This one's for all the girls)

That was awesome!!!! Yes!! It wouldn’t take much to speak truth about the real women who hold this world together. Coors could obliterate AB and take over the market share with one good solid campaign lifting up real women. The men who used to drink AB would rally around a good real woman product campaign.
This should get sent to the Coors marketing team!
Meanwhile there’s a new beer hitting the market… UltraRightBeer. They are gonna take on AB. We’ll see where it goes.
Yes! We are blessed to be surrounded by some amazing women in our life! And I’m blessed to be raised by one!
