The mere thought that the government keeps butting into my health choices, my health records and the control over what goes in or comes out of my body just makes my carcass crawl. If we have learned anything in the last 2 years, it should be the fact that the Fed has no place in healthcare. We are either in a giant experiment or we have died and gone to Ironic Hell.
Everywhere you turn, the narrative is jab jab jab! The alphabet health agencies know best! No, they are NOT compromised. No, the board members do not own substantial stocks in Pfizer or other pharmaceutical companies. Nothing to see here. Move Along! They are like vultures and we are their meal. Is it any wonder that a group of vultures feeding on something is called a Wake? And, when they are resting in a tree or on the ground or in the DC capitol building, they are called a Committee. No shit. So…are they woke now?
Have you watched any mainstream TV? It is 5 minutes of the show you want to see and 10 minutes of commercials, 70% of which are for DRUGS. Our physician is our friend, just ask them. It is nauseating. I just read today that OANN has not been renewed by Verizon for cable. The powers that be do not want any alternative narrative out there and are shutting down the dissenting voices one by one. It is the only news I watch. I have a Roku and pay a monthly subscription fee for OANN. I urge you to do the same.
Now, the Democrats are making us think they are friendlies by “codifying” the right to contraception. (Has anyone ever heard that word until recently?) The Republicans who voted for that bill are looking like heroes along with all the Dems. They are making us think twice about our November vote by making it look like the R wants to steal our right to birth control. Hmmm. What is in this bill that made some Republicans vote against it? I read some of it…It is good that they are dividing this nation into every category imaginable. Here is a smidge:
“The right to make personal decisions about contraceptive use is important for all Americans, and is especially critical for historically marginalized groups, including Black, indigenous, and other people of color; immigrants; LGBTQ people; people with disabilities; people with low incomes; and people living in rural and underserved areas. Many people who are part of these marginalized groups already face barriers – exacerbated by social, political, economic, and environmental inequities – to comprehensive health care, including reproductive health care, that reduce their ability to make decisions about their health, families, and lives.”
Well…where are these people, who are so worried about our health and welfare, when it comes to the Neverending Jab Story? My. Body. My. Choice. The hypocrisy is killing me!! How about the government just stay out of our bodies, all together. Buh Bye! It is 2022…how about we bring back morality? Maybe quit trying divide up America into sub-classes that need extra help and love from their government. We would hate to have all those gays and lesbians reproducing at an exponential rate. If you think about it, I am sure, genetically speaking, we all have historically marginalized markers in our blood. I vote we all take a DNA test to prove this…just shove a long swab up your nose and it can tell you! Oh, wait. Ummm, scratch that. Already done and on file.
Our founding fathers were brilliant to put the right to birth control in the Constitution! Do you not agree?? Here is another smidge from the bill:
“Despite the clearly established constitutional right to contraception, access to contraceptives, including emergency contraceptives and long acting reversible contraceptives, has been obstructed across the United States in various ways by Federal and State governments. In 2021 alone, at least 4 States tried to 4 ban access to some or all contraceptives by restricting access to public funding for these products and services.”
So, thanks to all the ignoramuses we pay to go to D.C. in our stead, the blatant LIE right there in the proposed bill goes unchallenged. Come on!!
Here is a cherry picked quote from The Future For Freedom Foundation’s Laurence M. Vance, in an article entitled:
Is There a Constitutional Right To Birth Control?
“Of course there is no constitutional right to birth control. How could there be? The Constitution not only doesn’t mention any form of birth-control device, it likewise doesn’t contain any reference to medical care, pharmacies, pharmacists, physicians, sex, drugs, or even rock and roll.
However, that does not mean that Americans don’t have the right to manufacture, buy, sell, or use birth control. Merely because a right is not explicitly mentioned in the Constitution, it doesn’t follow that it doesn’t exist. The Constitution doesn’t grant rights; the Constitution guarantees rights. Rights that the government gives, the government can take away. The Constitution specifically guarantees certain natural rights, imposes limits on the government’s power, and explicitly declares that all powers not delegated to the federal government by the Constitution are reserved to the states or the people. That the government does not now follow its own Constitution is true but irrelevant.”

I don’t know about you, but Laurence sounds awfully smart and I sound awfully smart quoting him, so it is a win/win.
The Feds are up for any power grab and they are now an enemy of each individual state. We need to hang on and start small, but the founding fathers were very canny and knew this would happen. What right is not guaranteed in the Constitution is granted by the states. So…get a hold of that person you sent to D.C to vote on your behalf and let them know we see them and are keeping track.
