OMG, so funny! 😂 And so true. If you want just funny memes and free coloring pages and lots of beautiful photos and art, we could follow each other. I actually quit posting a while back and like you I quit going there for at least 6 months. But I'm gearing up to start up again. Spoiler alert, there will be photos of my tshirts. I wasn't going to write anything today, but then got all riled up. Plus, I think I am in ketosis, so that always helps my brain. Just did Wordle in 3, like yesterday. Must be the wildfire smoke. Thanks..always appreciate you. I don't post stuff on there, but I do get inspired. I actually went into a deserted old house next door and cut open an old box spring and took the springs out. Painted them and use them to hold all the cloth napkins on my table. I will have to look for your page! :-)
SADIEJAY, thank you for some pure and blunt thoughts about dear Pinterest and the slide downhill, it seems. I joined Pinterest a long time ago, I would say close to 15 years, back when I lived in San Francisco. I joined to simply enjoy the beauties of nature photos, funny animal friends, beautiful garments and inspiration of my Christian faith. I am a lifelong lover of all elements of beauty. Over the past year or 18 months, I have noticed a harshness creeping in. I had a couple of times, emails from Pinterest accusing me of presenting "adult content"...which was and is 100% false. I am an Elder , will be 74 in November 2026 and am focused only on the inner beauty and never on pornography. So...after gently and yet forcefully advising them I did NONE of those awful things, I am slowly deleting many many Pins. It will take some time, but I am pressing delete on 20-30 Pins per day. I guess things run their course...but it no longer feels "organic" but more corporate... and that is NOT me. Thank you for your thoughts here, I agree, from my own corner. Blessings to you, Wendy
