Our lovely government, the one to whom we give our hard earned tax dollars, is using that money to buy cell phones for criminals and handing them out at the US/Mexican border. I say criminals because they are called illegal immigrants. Illegal equals criminal in my book. Black or white. Pick a side. Good or evil. There is no gray. I know that Obama gave out phones back when Joe Biden was coherent, so it has been a while since legals were given phones.

My mom got a notice that her flip phone would no longer work after the month of August 2022 and they want her to get a smart phone. Everyone is going to be required to have a smart phone and they will make everything so easy to use and we will get so hooked that we will not be able to live without it. The feds want illegals to have one in order to track their whereabouts. Just because the illegal is not literally “checking in” does not mean that this clown government cannot track them. And, tracking them is the main purpose. It is not for the good of this nation, it is to make sure that the illegals are dispersed enough throughout the entire country to change demographics. This is not a verified fact, but just my opinion. This administration does not care about the people who pay their salary but are hell bent on pandering to crazy ideas and loonies who want to make the United States into a third world cesspool.

I do not want a free cell phone from the government. I am not jealous. Although it would be better if there were no illegals, we had a secure border and Reagan was still President. Or someone like him.

Try this fun experiment. Place your phone on the table and talk about where to find a good place to buy candy. Make sure your FB is on, or whatever else spies on you. Then sit back and wait. Soon, your news feed or inbox will tell you where to buy candy. It is like magic!! A person could get very used to getting what they want before they even know they want it. So begins the vicious cycle of forgetting how to be self sufficient.

A few years ago, when I had FB on my phone, I was talking to my mom about the Nutri System weight loss program. The very next day it showed up all over my news feed on FB and weight loss pills on the side bar ads of various websites I visited. If you use Firefox, there is an extension you can install that will keep your apps corralled and keep them from talking to one another. I did this later and it works well.

I use the phrase “just because you are not paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t watching you.”

I am not comfortable being so reliant on something. There was a time when I knew all phone numbers I dialed by heart. And, if I didn’t, I looked them up in a phone book. Now, everything is at the tip of our fingers, be it on our smart phones or laptops. I was at the airport and I saw that everyone had a phone in their hand. No books, no newspapers…just phones. I need to print out a paper copy of all the phone numbers in my phone and keep it for the day when I throw that sucker into a bonfire.

I am not tied to it so desperately that I need to have it at hand. And, it always gets turned off at night and put in a tin can, otherwise known as a Faraday cage. I feel as if books enrich my life much more than being on the internet. But, we have to be informed of what is going on, even if it makes us sick to our stomach. In this day and age of constant surveillance, the powers are telling us that it is because the “advertisers” want to know what we buy. I call BS to that one. It is much, much more than that. I urge you to put your phones in a cage and walk away. One step at a time. Disengage yourself from technology and become human. Stop letting it in and remember who you were created to be. Once again….Up Theirs.
