I would love to say that I am a militant non-complier. But, unlike a certain beautiful friend, let’s call her K, I masked at times. Yep…I even followed the floor arrows in a grocery store. Once. Then I took great pleasure in going the opposite direction, because I could. The dirty looks I got! Girrrrl! You have no idea! Haha. Ridiculous.
I had the misfortune of necessary air travel during the masking madness. I had a super cute mask that was CLOTH. Oh, the horrors. When ‘they’ started parroting that the cloth was ineffective and insisted upon ones manufactured in China, well, how much more would it take to see the gig being up? And…when the Chinese-made coof test kits that the swamp monsters foisted upon American households FOR FREE, gigs up people. AGAIN. They can’t even give a contract for a fake test to a real American company. God forbid our dollars stay in-country for an illegally contrived so-called ‘emergency’.
The ‘virus’ came from China (narrative), so it only makes sense that we buy masks and coof ‘virus’ test kits from whence ‘it’ originated. And make sure we pay loads of money for the privilege. I don’t care what you say, I still like the Trumpism, Kung Flu. That’s funny, but it’s really not funny. OWS anyone?
As Nature obligingly slides Idaho into September in a relatively painless passing of the days, our angst is awakened once again by the hammer of government lackeys and implants. Whispering monsters from the right and the left are dropping words like ‘mask mandates’ ‘mid-September’ ‘airport employees first’ ‘airline passengers later’.
Well, shit.
How are you gearing up to meet the coming months? I am flying somewhere and I will eventually fly back to Idaho. Do I even put that cute little cloth mask in my purse and acknowledge the existence of my potential compliance? I meant to throw them away, but they hang around in a drawer as a reminder of what TPTB did and how I reacted. Do I comply because it is more convenient for me? Isn’t that how we got into this mess in the first place?
If I do decide to make a scene in the airport, how many would throw down their toxic face gauntlets and be ready to back me up? In the middle of a busy airport? I am willing to bet NONE. Most would probably pull out their phones and record the disappearance of my freedom. The fact is that the systematic and deliberate removal of liberty has been well documented in this viral age. Buh-bye. Ironic thing, that word viral.
All this mask reboot talk is hypothetical ‘what-ifs’. But, conjecture, whispers and out and out simulations are always the precursor to what will come in real life. It’s almost like TPTB are psychic or something.

Last night, before taking Hubs to the airport, I needed something. Target was right there, so easy to get to. But, we bypassed it because I have vowed to never set foot in one again. I said to him “Sticking to ones principles is very inconvenient.” If that is as inconvenient as it gets for us, then we are blessed. Seriously, First World Problems.
If we deliberately defy what we know to be wrong, if we resist that which challenges our moral fortitude, life is going to be difficult. It will be cumbersome, time consuming and inconvenient. We are going to feel like our parents or grandparents felt like when they would sheepishly ask us to stop the clock from blinking 12:00 on their VCR’s.
Does anyone still think Big Gov has our best interests at heart? Big Gov is our friend?
A friend who bullies us is no longer a friend. And, since bullies only respond to strength, from now onward, I will be prepared to be much stronger. And the president should be prepared for that.
So, in the relentless pursuit of that beautiful Declaration of Independence, I commit to tyrannis resistere. I will not be bullied by those who want to steal what I have. I will be ready to be uncomfortable and challenged. I cannot do this alone, and it is a great comfort that I am never alone. God has my back. And, I will be prepared this time.

Re the comment about bullies and your response to them, this reminds me of the NYC way. The way I was raised and my NYC-born-and-bred parents were raised -- "You leave me alone; I leave you alone. You fuck me with me; I fuck with you harder." Pretty simple...
