Random Observations
So you don't have to think too much today.
Does anybody literally give two of anything about Jussie Smollett? He was NEVER famous until he had himself attacked. And…we still don’t care. So, stop telling us.
I have been saying that the real headlies, uhhh, I mean headlines are going to put satire site The Babylon Bee out of business. You cannot make this stuff up fast enough.
Where have all the good guys gone?
Meghan and Harry. What can I say except, really, nobody cares what you think. Ever. On every single subject known to humankind. Maybe you should go away. Yes. You should definitely go away.
It is so difficult to find things that are not tainted by the last 2 years.
Time flies. The older we get, the less of a percentage each day is. If a baby is 2 days old, each day is 50% of it’s life. You can do your own calculation. Makes sense, right?
Does anyone else feel pressure? Pressure to conform? Pressure to think a certain way about things? You are not alone. Something smells.
You choose your friends and influences. Do not let them choose you.
You do not pray only during the bad times. You pray everyday. Praying for blessings in your life is okay! Praying when things are bad is okay!
Don’t trust anyone but God. If you are not sure about that, read the Bible to know where he stands and if you are standing with Him you will know what is right in your gut.
Sometimes you need to take the next step in faith and answers will follow.
Bad things cannot be the hinges upon which the door of our life hangs.
Do not be distracted from the good stuff.
Back up to get a new perspective on an old situation.
Real faith is full of hope.
Put Jesus in the place of your phone. Picture pulling Him out of your pocket when you see a thing of beauty and say a prayer of thanks instead of taking a picture. (Which, face it, never do it justice anyway!)
You have to be willing to go through some stuff to get somewhere.
It’s amazing how much time we have for prayer when we are desperate. Change that. Open up that channel and leave it open for the good times and the tough times.
Excellence begins in your behavior when nobody is watching.
Have so much of the Lord in you that even one bite from the devil when he is trying to devour you will make him sick.
God sometimes lets us take the difficult route instead of the shortcut because He wants to prepare us for what is ahead. Good and bad!
We might think we are waiting on the Lord, but He is waiting on us.
God set before mankind life and death, blessings and curses. He said “Choose life so that you and your children may live.” Choosing life is choosing Him, love and blessings! (Duet 30:19-20) So….there is that. Mankind and humanity has made some pretty poor choices for masses of people. But only YOU have control of YOU.
It is not what you think it is. Question everything.
Scared people make bad choices. No fear.
