Excellent essay, and an important reminder that there are two people who were hurt by the abortion agenda. The mother has the opportunity to know the power of God's forgiveness and the regenerative healing of his lovee.
Jeremiah 1:5: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations."
I have repented for believing in a woman’s right to choose up until a few years ago when I watched “A Matter of Life”.
If people only knew the truth. But the horror of it is always hidden, isn’t it.
“Do we really think we know when the spirit and soul of who we are arrives into our body? Is it at point of conception? Is it at some point during gestation? Is it at the point of birth? Does it really matter?”
No. It does not.
I know my Lord and savior Jesus Christ has forgiven me for ever thinking it did. 😢🙏🙏🙏
I can relate. My son challenged me about 6-7 years ago. I was the “Christian” pro-lifer who was brainwashed to believe it was ok to abort under certain circumstances. It was politically correct to think this way. They gave Christians an out to be pro choice, really. Until my son asked me if the baby was still a baby if a woman was raped…. Uh-oh. But. But. But. He challenged the out we had been craftily goven. God forgive me for ever letting myself be brainwashed into thinking it was ok depending on how the conception took place.
So powerful. Am reminded of a song written decades ago by Ray Boltz I believe. What was I Supposed to be? Every person considering abortion should listen to that song. Masterfully written, just like this piece.

Yes, powerful. Could have easily been in such a position, but by God's grace and mercy was not.
