Wow SadieJay! I’m so sorry for so many losses in such a short time. What a heartbreaking time in your family’s lives.

You are a powerhouse to be reckoned with. You put your family first, your husband first, and you walked the walk through it all.

My husband did a quick stint of Alaska commercial fishing so I know those awaited phone calls from the dock. We were engaged and planning a wedding from that dock! It’s the stuff that tough women are made of. Sacrifice, grit, determination and lots of crazy memories.

I think you are my kind of people! Fight or die trying. I too have never once capitalized bidens name as I do not respect him. He is undeserving of the title, which I do respect.

Thanks for sharing! Even if I’m a bit late to the site 😉

I feel ya, SadieJay. In our family back in 1990-1991, we lost five members of our family over 13 months, including my husband's mother and my father. Kudos to you for holding yourself and your family together over those years and especially during your families' losses.

After we made our escape from the "cradle of liberty" to our humble abode in the White Mountains of the "live free or die" state, we had a couple of occasions where we had to go back into the Boston area. Contrary to Department of Transportation guidelines, the MA doofuses also used the emergency road signs (designated for use as traffic or accident notifications only) to tell the brave New Englanders to "Stay Home" or to remind us that "Masks Save Lives."

And as silly as it is, guess which finger your friend here flashed at every single one of those signs?

As we know, we find ourselves surrounded by hundreds of millions (Think about that...) of people who simply lack the moral framework or courage to stand up for freedom, defy tyrants, and defend basic human rights because, well, they might die. So there.

Tragic. So sorry for your losses and happy for your survival. You are a fierce fighter. Glad we are on the same side. I believe I did the same thing to all those stupid signs as we drove across the country in November of 2020 and back in 2021. We went through a lot of states, and all their signs were full of brainwashing propaganda suggestions. On the way home, the southern route, it was the same way. New Mexico and Arizona were particularly militant about closures and especially nasty. We noticed a total lack of cleanliness and any excuse to be an asshole, especially Arizona. Disgusting. And...today is no better. There are so many VACANCY signs behind eyes these days. I like to give the British version of the finger, as it is less obvious.

Thank you, SadieJay.

I've heard that AZ and NM were nasty...Unbelievable. I doubt I'll never come back from the disdain and mistrust I've developed toward people as a result of their conduct. One-on-one in day-to-day interactions, of course, I'll extend my usual courtesy, but I have learned this lesson well: The people of this country cannot be counted on when it really matters.
