Fortunately, I live in a town called Lancasater in PA which is wondrously full of AMISH and MENNONITE farms that sell their produce in "roadside stands". Can you believe the FDA is suing a local Amish dairy farmer who has been successfully selling his WHOLE MILK from HEALTHY COWS to his client base for over TWENTY FIVE years. Now the FDA said someone developed a bacterial infection (I don't believe it was e coli--trying to remember exactly what the disorder was) from drinking his UNinspected, WHOLE milk (the cows have NEVER died from any disease of disorder and neither have this farmer's clients.) Meanwhile...this gent is SHUT DOWN and CANNOT MAKE A LIVING. We have had "Give, Send Go" fundraisers for him to pay for the legal expenses--but this is why BIG CORN, BIG AGRA, BIG PHARMA, BIG GOVERNMENT MUST BE SQUASHED like the NASTY COCKROACH it is.

I saw that movie you mentioned (Food, Inc.) when it was first released and it sickened me to the core--I remember the movoie shared a woman who owned a huge chicken farm and she 'had' been in bed with the Tyson agra conglomerate for quite a few years. She finally separated from that relationship because Tyson INSISTED that the chickens could not FREE RANGE and had to ROOST constantly. That, coupled with a HIGH CORN DIET resulted in the HUGE BREASTED chickens that Tyson wanted. The chickens' breasts were SO HUGE that when they attempted to STAND UP...they fell over from the weight of their breasts. HOW WRONG--HOW EVIL!!! That chicken farmer had enough of Tyson's evil mandates and decided to go 'independent' - I pray she is still doing a thriving business.

SHALOM, Sadie!!
