Fortunately, I live in a town called Lancasater in PA which is wondrously full of AMISH and MENNONITE farms that sell their produce in "roadside stands". Can you believe the FDA is suing a local Amish dairy farmer who has been successfully selling his WHOLE MILK from HEALTHY COWS to his client base for over TWENTY FIVE years. Now the FDA said someone developed a bacterial infection (I don't believe it was e coli--trying to remember exactly what the disorder was) from drinking his UNinspected, WHOLE milk (the cows have NEVER died from any disease of disorder and neither have this farmer's clients.) Meanwhile...this gent is SHUT DOWN and CANNOT MAKE A LIVING. We have had "Give, Send Go" fundraisers for him to pay for the legal expenses--but this is why BIG CORN, BIG AGRA, BIG PHARMA, BIG GOVERNMENT MUST BE SQUASHED like the NASTY COCKROACH it is.

I saw that movie you mentioned (Food, Inc.) when it was first released and it sickened me to the core--I remember the movoie shared a woman who owned a huge chicken farm and she 'had' been in bed with the Tyson agra conglomerate for quite a few years. She finally separated from that relationship because Tyson INSISTED that the chickens could not FREE RANGE and had to ROOST constantly. That, coupled with a HIGH CORN DIET resulted in the HUGE BREASTED chickens that Tyson wanted. The chickens' breasts were SO HUGE that when they attempted to STAND UP...they fell over from the weight of their breasts. HOW WRONG--HOW EVIL!!! That chicken farmer had enough of Tyson's evil mandates and decided to go 'independent' - I pray she is still doing a thriving business.

SHALOM, Sadie!!

Thank you! I love Lancaster and that area. That is so sad about the Amish. It makes me sick to think of that. Yes, that documentary was great. And then when I got done watching I am thinking that Joels name was so familiar. Sure enough, that was him. Have a beautiful evening, Sharon.♥♥

I read that the PA Amish turned out in unprecedented numbers for our last election. It would seem that they've had enough abuse at the hands of .gov.

Amen. I heard that as well. God bless them.

There were several grassroots activist groups that solicited the Amish population in PA to REGISTER AND VOTE and even provided transportation to the polls within the Commonwealth. I donated to a local (from Lancaster county) gent's efforts by sending postcards to the Amish who were already registered to vote, laying out the most important issues that had to be addressed NOW and would NOT be addressed by the "blue party" ever! The Amish responded wonderfully well!! They remembered whey they left England for the 'new world' (because of religious and political persecution) over 400 years ago!

Brilliant, Sadie Jay! And sad and infuriating. I relate to all of it. Oh, the irony of looking for food made in Europe. I’m blessed to know the farmers who grow most of my food. They don’t make pasta, though. Thx for the rant! XO

You are blessed indeed. If one could fine fresh milled flour, then homemade pasta is easy to make. And 'they' have been telling us all these years that it is bad for us. Barilla pasta from Italy only has a few ingredients. And it is delicious! I am thinking we do just the opposite of what 'the experts' tell us. Merry Christmas to you!♥

If I liked to cook/bake I would do that. I do cook about 95% of my meals but keep them simple. I buy sourdough bread from one of the farmers here. I love supporting them. And yes! My pasta comes from Italy! A friend just gave me some for my birthday. 🥰 I don’t eat it often but dang I love spaghetti !🍝

What a brilliant and information little rant Sadie Jay. I wish I could multiply my likes! Thank you - and I completely agree!

You're describing what C Fitts has called the Great poisoning which has been underway for decades and let's not forget the chemtrails cherry-on-top and of course the poison direct into our veins with that gorgeous vaccine!

Meanwhile our beautiful earth has provided everything we need.

And this:

"You gotta love capitalism and other countries being awash in American’s filthy lucre, because we are too poor to afford products made in our own country."

Thanks for this.

I'm going to remember to take a spoonful of my organic apple cider vinegar this morning to help my gut out.

Thank you. I appreciate it. Food is the driver of us and thinking twice about what we use for fuel might smarten people up? Here is to hoping. And...meanwhile, Christmas celebrations sit around the corner with their trench coats open, showing us all their cookies. Looks like I picked a bad time to double down on eating clean.

literally lol! Maybe think about taking your rants on the road? A comedy-eduecation tour.

And yes - it's a bad time for that. That's what the NY is for! :-)

Very interesting, sobering post. I love your writing, especially this:

"...dropping Temu and Shein-bombs all over the internet, like a magical Christmas downpour of cheap polyester mixed with formaldehyde in the shape of a nightgown?"
